  • Audit Associate

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Support professional to join our accounting and consulting firm. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping our team stay organized, efficient, and client-focused.

Location: Charleston, WV

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine audit engagement procedures in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and partners of the office.
  • Effectively manage multiple client assignments and/or tasks from various teams.
  • Identify and analyze problems and formulate thoughtful solutions to internal or client questions.
  • Coordinate client calls, office visits and data exchange necessary to plan and perform audit procedures.
  • Meet agreed upon time commitments while maintaining an acceptable quality of work.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information
  • Prior administrative experience preferred, especially in a professional office setting

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or related field
  • CPAs or CPA exam eligible candidates preferred
  • Highly motivated - interested in personal and professional growth
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding client relationship skills (internal and external)
  • Willingness to learn, engage and be an active participant in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of current audit and accounting concepts
  • Must have good analytical and proactive creative problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay

Work Location: One location
