William "Bill" Johnson and Keith Myers Promoted to Directors at GGM
Gray Griffith and Mays a.c. is pleased to announce the promotion of William “Bill” Johnson and Keith Myers to Directors at GGM.
William (Bill) Johnson is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP). Bill graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in accounting and Marshall University with a Master’s of Business Administration. Bill is a 2023 graduate of Leadership West Virginia, a program that brings emerging leaders together to ignite a lifelong passion to move West Virginia forward. Bill brings over ten years of experience to his practice and specializes in audit and attestation engagements for non-profit and healthcare entities, consulting and bookkeeping, and audits of employee benefit plans. Bill is a part of many industry-related professional organizations, such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and the West Virginia Society of CPAs (WVSCPA). Outside of work, Bill enjoys volunteering, hiking with his family, and being actively involved in his church. In this new role, Bill will be a Director in GGM’s audit department specializing in healthcare and nonprofits.
Keith Myers holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from West Virginia University, and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in West Virginia. Since first joining GGM in 2014, Keith has served as the Manager of the Tax Department. Specifically, he assisted individuals with tax preparation, tax planning, and estate planning. He also provided consulting services to small businesses. Keith is a member of the AICPA and the West Virginia Societies of CPAs. Keith has over 30 years of experience in public accounting and private industry. Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, his adult children, and his grandchildren. He also enjoys trout fishing and collecting 0-gauge model railroad trains. In this new capacity, Keith will be responsible for the Tax Department of the Morgantown office.
Keith and Bill have proved to be valuable assets for our firm, and we are excited to see how they will excel in their new roles.
