AMANDA MAKON PROMOTED TO MANAGER AT GGM
Gray, Griffith & Mays, A.C. is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda Makon to manager.
With more than 15 years of experience in the accounting industry, Amanda Makon brings a depth of knowledge and a client-focused approach to her new role. She is a graduate of West Virginia University, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA).
Amanda’s work centers on supporting hospice and home health agency clients, with a strong emphasis on cost reporting, CAP reporting, and reimbursement-related services. Her healthcare experience is complemented by work with small business accounting and bookkeeping, as well as financial statement compilations. She remains actively engaged in the profession through her involvement with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), and the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (WVSCPA).
Known for her attention to detail and commitment to quality, Amanda finds fulfillment in delivering accurate, compliant work to clients. “I enjoy summarizing, compiling, and classifying client information into a meaningful, representative format that conforms to CMS requirements,” she shared. “It gives me a sense of accomplishment to have a quality finished product to deliver to clients.”
